Nishitosa Shimanto Vacations Co., Ltd., based in the “Nishitosa (western Kochi) area” in the middle reaches of the Shimanto River, creates and operates “sightseeing” by which visitors can reconsider their way of life through experiencing interaction with the natural environment of the Shimanto River, with "outdoor sports" centering on canoe touring, and "green tourism" which integrates into the daily life of the river basin.

Purpose of Canoe House
The Canoe House serves as a base facility where citizens and visitors from inside and outside the basin can interact with the Shimanto River and provides a place for exchange with others who use the Rural Park.
It was established to provide the public with a place for sound and healthy recreation, and to contribute to the promotion of tourism, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, as well as for the improvement of culture.
